President Trump and First Lady Melania issued their official Christmas card early this morning and led to some strong comments.

The Presidential pair’s card showed a festive photo taken at the White House. Posing side by side, holding hands, Donald and Melania are surrounded by Christmas trees and decorated with fairy lights and red ornaments.

Melania looked beautiful in a long high neck dress by Celine in pure white with silver heels, a favored designer the First Lady. The picture for the Presidential pair’s Christmas Card got taken during the Congressional Ball on December 15 at the White House. As a caption to the post, the couple’s representative wrote:

72-year-old Donald Trump wore a smart tuxedo and bow tie as he and Melania smiled for the camera. The First Lady went with dramatic makeup and loosely flowing hair, which made her dress stand out more.

Both she and President Trump took to the stage in the festively decorated Grand Foyer to give a short speech during the event.

A garland draped along the sweeping staircase with red bows and lights looked beautiful with two large Christmas trees, decorated with red baubles and white lights dominating the room.

Melania and Donald Trump shared the evening with Vice President Mike Pence and wife Karen, while President Trump’s daughter, Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner also attended the Congressional Ball.

As Melania understandably finds it hard to find a suitable gift for Donald on Christmas, the couple decided to plan something special for the family instead of exchanging gifts on Christmas day.

An insider reported that Melania and Donald would be spending Christmas with the whole family at Mar-a-Lago. Melania’s parents will also be flying down from Florida to spend Christmas with the rest of the family.

On December 12, the First Lady debuted her new look, as she decided to change things up a little for the festive season. After two years of being a brown-haired beauty, Melania decided to go blond. She looked lighter with the change of color while keeping her signature wavy style.

Some comments were not very forgiving as one user tweeted:

"Oof! Her husband might have a thing for blondes but oh honey sweetie no!"
