Wendy Williams harshly slammed for calling Nick Cannon's son with Brittany Bell an 'oops baby'

Wendy Williams is facing heavy criticism yet again after she controversially called Nick Cannon and Brittany Bell's son an "oops baby". After her latest remarks, the internet decided to tell her off for her harsh words which she said right after Cannon dropped by on "The Wendy Williams Show".

Nick Cannon dropped by the show to speak about numerous topics, but mainly to promote his new show and speak about why he defended Kevin Hart during the recent Oscars scandal.

Opening the segment peacefully, Williams asked the "Drumline" actor for his holiday plans. However, things started to go south when she hinted that he would be spending the holiday season "sleigh-riding from one house to another". This was a reference to the fact that Nick has children with two different women, first with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, and second with the former beauty queen Brittany Bell.

Clearly a good sport, the 38-year-old went along with what Wendy was trying to say, adding that he was going to Haiti for a family trip.

"I'm Saint Nick for real, obviously I have an extended family and I'll be visiting them in many houses over the holidays."

When asked about his children, Williams first casually brushed upon his children with Carey, before referring to her son with Bell as an "oops baby". After hearing this, Cannon tried to keep his cool in the best way he can, clutching his chest in mock horror after hearing the statement. He also screamed "the disrespect!", hoping to ride along with Williams' humor, but others were not as forgiving.

In the comments section of the video on YouTube, appalled viewers dragged the host for her insensitivity and rudeness towards her supposed guests.

While Williams sees it as an "oops baby", Canon actually began dating Bell after parting ways with ex-wife Mariah in 2014. It was in February 2017 that they welcomed their son, Golden, although the two of them split after.

Despite their split, Bell and Cannon remain close to one another to make sure that they raise their child well, even allowing him to interact with his older siblings, Moroccan and Monroe.
