In November of the same year, A&E aired a special about her struggle called “Dog and Beth: Fight of Their Lives.” In the end, she was declared cancer free, however, the disease returned last month.
On November 27, Beth was rushed to emergency surgery after waking up and being unable to breathe. Doctors found a "large mass" in her throat and also informed her that the disease had spread to one of her lungs.
Speaking about how his wife was handling the latest diagnosis, Duane “Dog” Chapman said:
"She's still trying to cook and get involved in my bounties and business. She's still trying to do everything. Beth is the kind of girl who likes control. She's trying to still advise me on my work, and I’m like, 'Honey, I was the Dog the Bounty Hunter before I met you. Stay out of it!'"
On the same day that she posted the message on Facebook, she also took some time to appreciate the festive season by going out. On Instagram, she shared a photo from a restaurant where she was seen with a martini in her hand and a big smile.
She captioned the post
"Last Saturday of shopping before Christmas. Good luck to all of you who wait till the last minute ..we’ll be over here at the martini Bar."
