Steve Harvey shares pic with wife Marjorie in matching sweaters after saying he's smoking 89 cigars

A few days after sparking health concerns by saying he’ll smoke 89 cigars, Steve Harvey shared an adorable Christmas photo with his wife, Marjorie and a cigar in hand.

The talk show host and his spouse looked cute and in love in matching sweaters to wish their fans a “Merry Christmas from our family to yours.”

"A cigar is relaxing to me."

Marjorie paired her red-and-green sweater with an antlers headpiece, and Steve wore his with red pants, a matching face-cap, and a burgundy scarf wrapped around his neck. In the 61-year-old’s hand was his guilty pleasure: a cigar.

THE STARTLING REVELATION

A few days before Christmas, Steve caused a stir after sharing a clip from “The Steve Harvey Morning Show” where he revealed he would be smoking 89 cigars the next day.

In his usual jovial manner, Steve said:

“I’m ’bout as happy for the holidays as happy can get. I’m smokin’ 89 cigars tomorrow. Steve Harvey Moning Show. Wanna say happy holidays to everybody. Y’all have a good one, OK? Peace!”

He then proceeded to sing snippets of some Christmas songs and joked about releasing an album. Most fans were however worried and advised Steve against smoking as many cigars.

CIGAR SMOKING IS "YOGA" TO STEVE

Regardless of the concerns, the chances are that the “Family Feud” host will not be dropping his cigars anytime soon; he once referred to them as “Yoga.”

In a video on his YouTube page from two years ago, Steve explained why he smokes cigars and what they mean to him:

“Before you tell me what cigars do to your body, let me tell you what they do for me. Because I gotta work from the time I wake up, I say I gotta have little moments in the day where I’m just doing what I wanna do, and a cigar is relaxing to me…. I don’t do drugs, I [don’t] eat cake, I got one woman, she’s at the house working, I’m down here working; something’s got to give.”

SHARING A CIGAR WITH HIS LOVE

Earlier this year, Steve also shared his hobby with his wife while they were on vacation in Italy. He posted a video of Marjorie attempting to smoke the cigar but concluded: “I tried to win her over. It’s not gon’ work; this is so temporary.”

It appears Marjorie has no problems with her husband enjoying his cigar and they couldn’t have looked more in love in that video.

DIVORCE RUMORS & KRIS JENNER

Speaking of their love, Steve and Marjorie became the subject of divorce rumors a few months back. The “Miss Universe” host was alleged to be leaving his wife for reality star/momager Kris Jenner, and he wasted no time shutting down the speculations.

“They act like I don’t have family. They act like my kids can’t read. They don’t care. They just go out to destroy people with no facts behind it,” lamented Steve during a phone press conference reported by AJC.

While Steve was most likely joking with his “89 cigars” comment, it’s quite clear the man loves his cigars.
