Eddie Murphy introduces 3-week-old son Max in first family picture with all of his 10 children

Eddie Murphy became a father for the tenth time last month and this Christmas, he joined all of his children in one big, happy family yuletide portrait.

Every year, Eddie Murphy gathers all of his children for a commemorative holiday photo. This year is no exception and is quite special because it marks the first time the actor is joined by all of his 10 children after the birth of his youngest son, Max.

A MILESTONE PIC

In the image which features the Murphy family at the foot of the staircase and dressed in black and/or white, the father-of-ten stands at the center. He’s holding his youngest daughter, Izzy and standing next to her mother, Paige Butcher who’s carrying their son Max. Butcher is also Murphy’s fiancé.

Around them are the rest of Murphy’s children from four different mothers. These include Nicole Murphy’s son Miles, 26, and daughters Bella, 16, Zola, 19, Shayne, 24, and Bria who shared the photo on her Instagram and captioned it “Merry Christmas.”

Mel B’s daughter Angel Iris, 11, Tamara Hood’s son Christian, 28, and Paulette McNeely’s son, Eric, 29, complete the ensemble. For the first time, they’re also joined by Murphy’s and Butcher’s mothers.

DEVOTED FATHER

The photo is proof of Murphy’s dedication to being the best father to his children. He once disclosed that his kids are “the brightest part” of his life. This is probably why his brood keeps getting bigger and closer as the years go by. An annual Christmas tradition of gathering them all under one roof certainly breeds a familial bond.

10 AND COUNTING?

It’s unclear if Murphy intends to have more children but he did look forward to having his son Max. After the birth of his youngest daughter, Izzy, he and Butcher wished to give her a sibling. That wish has apparently come true.

ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING

Murphy and Butcher who began dating in 2012 have committed to a future marriage yet no date has been established. They announced their engagement in September, just a month after they revealed they were expecting. The couple has remained mum about a possible wedding but by the looks of things, it may just be around the corner.
