Robin Roberts smiles sweetly in video with longtime partner during 'bonus trip' in South Korea

In a recent video, shown below, openly gay Robin Roberts smiles sweetly with her longtime partner during a "bonus trip" in South Korea.

Robin Roberts and her girlfriend, Amber Laign were on their way home from Thailand and Vietnam. They landed in Seoul in South Korea first before catching their connecting flight.

However, they had a very long stopover in South Korea. Instead of staying in the airport waiting for hours, the pair took a suggestion and decided to use the time to tour the city.

They had to buy warmer clothing before leaving the airport as South Korea is much cooler than their previous destinations. Even though they were unprepared for the trip, they decided the opportunity was too good to pass.

Robin then took to Instagram to share their adventure. In one video, posted by the "Good Morning America" host, both partners smiled sweetly at each other as they discovered the wonders of Seoul.

"Extremely lengthy layover at #incheonairport in #seoul...glad it was suggested to pass some time to take a free tour of the city. Amber and I had to buy some warmer gear at the airport before we headed out...let’s just say it’s MUCH colder than what we packed for Thailand and Vietnam! No complaints, we looked at it as a bonus adventure before our 15 hour flight back home" wrote Robin in her caption on Instagram

"Great way to make the best of your layover!" one fan said praising the couple for making the best of their wait.

The couple has been sharing tons of pics of their entire holiday. Robin has posted a few loving pics of them and even captioned one saying, "Bless you, sweet Amber. "

In the pic, she leaned on her girlfriend's shoulder while wearing a long-sleeved white t-shirt and a white hat. Amber donned a black t-shirt and closed her eyes as she rested her face on Robin's head.

“Thank you for showing us what true love is. You both are amazing women. Blessings to you always!” said one fan

Other fans praised the couple for setting a good example for the rest of the LGBTQ community. One wrote, “Love you, Robin!!! You are truly an inspiration to me and many others. Please don't ever leave GMA!!”
