Kate Hudson celebrates daughter Rani’s special milestone with adorable red floral one-piece
The actress and mother-of-three took to social media to honor her youngest child third-month of life by dressing her in an outfit that references her daughter’s beautiful name.
On January 2, 39-year-old Kate Hudson’s baby daughter Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa turned three months old, and a few days later, the proud mother took to Instagram to share the commemorative suit the child wore for the occasion.
Inspired by her bundle of joy’s middle name, the “Almost Famous” star dressed the baby in an elaborate red floral one-piece and a matching headband adorned with roses. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa
Making a little fun at herself for having maybe overdone it when dressing Rani up for the picture, Hudson excused herself by having grown up watching fashion designer Bob Mackie creating looks for her celebrity mother Goldie Hawn.
“Went a little crazy on the holiday outfit but let’s be honest...I did grow up watching @bobmackie design for my mother so I have a bit of an affinity for the embellished and sequined.”

The celebratory post has been well received among Hudson’s many followers in the social network, with more than 700.000 users “liking” the snapshot, and several commenting on the image.
“Sweetness wrapped in red,” wrote a user. “Little rockstar diva! Just too cute,” added someone else. “Kate, you are such a wonderful mom! I love how you embrace motherhood,” another user praised the actress.
Apart from falling in love with her daughter and making everybody else do the same in the process, Hudson has been focusing on getting back into shape and working on her post-pregnancy health.
Rani is the first child Hudson and her 32-year-old boyfriend Danny Fujikawa have conceived together, with the former being mother of 14-year-old Ryder Russell and 7-year-old Bingham Hawn from previous relationships.
On October 6, four days after announcing her arrival, Hudson shared the first public picture of Rani, calling the baby “our little rosebud,” and ever since then, she has delighted her followers with her presence in her feed.
Apart from falling in love with her daughter and making everybody else do the same in the process, Hudson has been focusing on getting back into shape and working on her post-pregnancy health.
She has set herself the goal of losing 11kg before starting to work in a new film, and to stay motivated and inspire others she became an ambassador for Weight Watchers.
“One of my passions is wanting people to live their most optimum life, and one of the number one things for that is finding a community that can support you,” she said about WW.
Back on November 21, Hudson paid a very sweet tribute to her mother as a way to celebrate her 73rd birthday, sharing a picture that featured herself, her son Ryder, and Hawn.
“Fearless leader, my number one, my heart, my love, my joy, my everything, MY MAMA! Happy, happy, happy birthday,” were the heartfelt words with which Hudson captioned the lovely snapshot.
