Phaedra Parks' new boyfriend speaks out on their relationship after she shared photo with him

Phaedra Parks has a new man in her life, and he’s not afraid to speak up about their relationship. The new boyfriend also had a word for everyone who’s been wondering about Parks’ love life.

The former “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” star had social media buzzing when she shared a sizzling photo of herself with a mystery man some days back.

In the Instagram post, Parks cuddled up to a man who wrapped an arm around her waist protectively and grinned broadly at the camera.

The TV personality herself dressed to kill in a burgundy jumpsuit featuring a plunging neckline that went all the way to her waist. She also looked happy to be in the man’s arms, and her caption was even more indicative.

“2019 we are ready,” Parks wrote, alongside a heart emoji.

A lot of fans were eager to get updates about the celebrity’s life while others simply concluded and offered their congratulations.

It didn’t take long, however, for the man in question to speak up and put an end to all the speculations out there.

The mystery man is Tone Kapone, a Chicago radio host who also appears on “Dish Nation” alongside Parks’ former costar Porsha Williams.

“Yes, me and Phaedra are dating,” confirmed Kapone on a January 2 episode of the show before addressing anyone who had been wondering. “See? I told everybody. Now can’t we just go back to our regular lives?”

On his Instagram page, Kapone spoke further about their new relationship, telling his followers:

"Yes, me and Phaedra are dating. OK, cool. Is that it? That's the big moment everybody was waiting for. Yeah, it was kind of self-explanatory on her page. I didn't want to re-post it because it seemed like it would have been super weird. Like, yeah, look at me. If you know anybody that knows me, I'm not that kind of guy."

Parks and Kapone have reportedly been dating for three months, and this is the first public relationship the mother-of-two would be involved in since divorcing her ex-husband Apollo Nida.

Last month, Parks opened up to PEOPLE about the new man in her life, but at the time, chose to keep his identity secret.

“I have a special guy that I’ve been seeing. I’m really excited,” she confirmed. “We haven’t introduced him to the world, but he’s a baby doll. He looks like a treat because he is a treat. He’s a great guy.”

Parks, 45, was married to Nida from 2009 to 2017 when their divorce was finalized. The “RHOA” alum announced her intention to divorce her ex in 2014, shortly after he began serving an eight-year prison sentence for fraud and identity theft.

Nida has since gotten engaged to another woman, and now, Parks has found love for herself as well. She, however, remains committed to raising her and Nida's boys, eight-year-old Ayden and five-year-old Dylan.
