Ben Stiller turned his red-carpet appearances with daughter into tradition - now she is all grown up

The show-business veteran had his 16-year-old daughter accompany him to the 2019 Golden Globes awards, as she had done for many other red carpet events in the past.

Parents often share an exceptional bond with their children and sometimes unique traditions. For American actor and producer, Benjamin Stiller; he attends Hollywood red carpet events with his daughter Ella Stiller.

Benjamin and his ex-wife actress Christine Taylor are fond of having their young daughter accompany them to functions. Although their other child, Quinlin, occasionally tags along too; never as much as Ella.

The 76th annual edition of the Golden Globes which happened last Sunday was no different. The Stillers, along with two of Ella’s close friends got ready for the event at the Chateau Marmont. Dressed in a strapless J. Mendel gown with sparkling jewelry, Ella and father made it to the red carpet and posed up a storm. The duo was later seen taking selfies at the theatre.

That night, there were so many reasons to be grateful. One being the two nominations for Ben’s directorial project on the set of Escape at Dannemora.

Patricia Arquette also won the award for Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV movie for the Escape at Dannemora.

Ella has been attending events with Ben since last fall. The activities she had accompanied her dad to include the premiere of Free Solo; a rock climbing documentary; the screening of First Man and the premiere of Wildlife.

Before their heartbreaking split, it used to be both Ben and Christine taking Ella along to such premieres and even the US Open.

With all these, it is no wonder that Ella is rapidly becoming a red carpet maestro. She has a burgeoning acting career, though nothing as buoyant as that of her parents. Her first professional role was in the 2010 movie Megamind.

The 16-year-old and her brother also featured alongside their father in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. In 2018, Ella secured a role in the stage play Slut, which featured an all teenage actress cast.

Ella certainly has great potential; this led her father to say in 2016; ‘My daughter’s smart focused. She doesn’t take any crap,’ while also likening her to his late mother, Anne Meara.
