Donald Trump's son shared an internet meme with a swear word causing backlash
In a bizarre post that has sent the social media into a frenzy, POTUS’ son Donald Trump Jr. went on Instagram on Wednesday to lash out at Rep. Member Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) for labeling his father, President Donald Trump, a “motherfucker.”
This came on, as a result, of a comment made by Tlaib towards Trump’s impeachment saga. The congresswoman had told a cheering crowd that they were going in to impeach the United States president, but his son wasn't too happy about it.
Even though the intention of sharing the meme is to lash out at Tilda, Trump’s son ended up calling his dad, a: “Motherfucker.”
A little while after her swearing-in to Congress on Thursday, Tlaib revealed to a reception hosted by progressive group MoveOn that:
“we’re gonna go in there, and we’re gonna impeach the motherf*****.”
Having none of it, Trump Jr took to social media on Wednesday, writing:
"Wish some of these Anti-American liberal activist reps would do a little more fighting for the people of THIS country and THEIR constituents for a change. I know that's what @realdonaldtrump is Actually doing. He is fighting for America and Americans for their jobs, for their families, and for their wellbeing."
The comment raised ire in the conservative frames, and top movie star Samuel L. Jackson rose to Tlaib’s defense; the actor wrote:
“ @RashidaTlaib I just wanna Wholeheartedly endorse your use of & clarity of purpose when declaring your Motherfucking goal last week. Calling that Muthafukkah a Motherfucker is not an issue, calling that Muthaffuqah President Is!!!#motherfuckeristoogoodtowasteonthatcankersore”
The post which so far had garnered more than 32 thousand likes as at 3 AM on the 7th of January is taking over Twitter as the king of the word “Motherf****er” goes on a rampage.
Although Tlaib apologized on Tuesday for the distraction and tension that may have been stirred by her outburst, the congresswoman reiterated that she would not be sorry “for being upset or angry” with the Trump White House.
According to her on Twitter:
'I will always speak truth to power. #unapologeticallyMe.'
Trump Jr. caught heat on Tuesday for comparing his father’s proposed wall on the U.S.-Mexico border to a fence at a zoo. He was immediately blasted and called out by people for the statement, with a lot of people branding him an unapologetic racist and xenophobic for his silly remarks likening immigrants to animals.
While he might have had the initial intention to stand with his father, Trump Jr. might have actually done more harm than good, and it certainly won't go well with the White House.
