The one-shouldered gown featured a flowing floor-length design. A glittering line of flowers crisscrossed down the front of the dress.

Metz wore the gorgeous piece with a loose hairstyle showing off her curly brown hair. Her made up face highlighted her eyes and she wore lipstick matching the soft pink of the dress.

The "This Is Us" star later went on stage to present the best actress in a comedy series. Rachel Brosnahan of "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" won the award.

Co-star Mandy Moore was also present at the event and looked beautiful herself. She wore a long white dress with openings on both sides of her midriff.

The long sleeve dress featured a high neckline. Moore accentuated the look with drop earrings and simple makeup. Her hair was tucked back and let loose.

Metz has been an inspiration for plus-size women on the show. A new project is also giving her a chance to connect with those who share her faith.

The Christian woman will star in the true story "Breakthrough." She will play Joyce Smith, a mother who lost her son when he falls through an icy lake.

In an interview about the movie, Metz said that showing one's faith is sometimes challenging. Regardless, she hopes to help others remain strong about it through the film.

Back in June 2018, the star also shone at the CMT awards in Bridgestone Arena, Nashville. She again worked as a presenter, giving Blake Shelton the prize for Best Male Video.

Metz wore a sparkling black long-sleeve dress for the event. The look was seen in several fan photos Metz took with her admirers.
