Fans concerned after Tori Roloff wrote about 'really difficult things' under a photo of her baby

Little People, Big World fans are concerned after an Instagram post shared by Tori Roloff talking about that "life's been challenging" for her lately.

Tori shared a photo of her and her one-year-old son Jackson on her Instagram with a message that mentioned that life has been "challenging" for her this month.

Although Roloff was not specific about what "challenges" she was referring to, many of her fans posted encouraging and reassuring messages in the comments next to the picture.

Her fans also remembered that just a few days earlier the couple had a little emergency with Jackson at Disneyland, it turns out that their one-year-old son is very prone to nursemaids elbow and while they were all waiting in line to get in the Peter Pan ride Tori noticed that her boy was not ok.

What a day. It started out pretty miserable. Actually it was great at first- driving to Disneyland getting in line for our favorite ride (Peter Pan). That’s where things went south. Jackson is prone to nursemaids elbow (could be a dwarfism thing or it could just be a Jackson thing). He was pulling away from me in line and it happened. I knew right away that we were in trouble and Jackson would need to see a doctor. I was so bummed. Bummed because we had to leave my favorite place on earth before we got to do anything and bummed that my poor boy was in pain. Well lucky for us by the time a doctor saw him it had already been reduced and he was using his arm again which meant we got to go back to Disneyland (with lots of cuddles and some Tylenol behind us). It was a good reminder for myself. I tend to put a lot of excitement and expectations on Disney because it’s such a special place to me. But it was a good reminder that things don’t always go according to plan and you have to roll with life. I am so thankful Jackson was such a champ today. He rallied harder than anyone and we were still able to enjoy moms favorite place! Love you Disney. Thanks for the magical day! °o° #babyjroloff #zandtpartyofthree Ps this was taken after Jackson was fast asleep. We didn’t need to wake him for this photo!

The concerned parents rushed little Jackson to the doctor and they were back for more adventures in a very short time. The family ended that day as happy as they expected and with another story to tell their fans.

Tori and Zach have been married since 2015, and in the more than three years as husband and wife, she has never faced any kind of teasing over having married a man with dwarfism.

Having a son, Jackson, who inherited her husband’s condition, has made Tori learn even more about achondroplasia, and this knowledge has helped her overcome her initial fears about her baby’s diagnosis.

How many times have you had a question about your little one and it was too late to text your mom friends? I can’t tell you the amount of times I SHOULDN’T have googled something about my little one. There were times that I worried about Jackson when he was totally fine but it took hearing it from someone else to calm my nerves. I just discovered the app @peanut and goodness I wish I would have discovered it earlier. @peanut is a social networking apps just for moms and moms to be. The app connects you with other mamas in your area who have similar interests or similar aged children. You can use it to ask other mamas simple questions about your child or baby, or you can use it to simply connect with other moms and find fun things to do in your community. I have really enjoyed talking with moms in my area on @peanut and I really encourage other moms out there to check it out! It’ll keep us all off google and help us feel part of a community! #peanutapp

Apart from the health complications that Jackson’s genetic condition could bring, Tori is prepared to use people’s natural curiosity to her advantage as a way to educate others about this condition.

No I’m not pregnant. Yes I love baggy clothes and food. What if I was a women who couldn’t get pregnant? What if I was a women who had body image issues? Asking a woman if she’s pregnant can be extremely damaging. Luckily I know when I get asked these questions it’s coming from a place of love. I know our fans are eager to see our family grow-as are Zach and I and our families- and you guys just want to see us make more adorable babies like baby j. However I hope you think twice about asking a woman “are you pregnant?” Or “when’s the next one coming?” You don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors in anyone’s life. I say this because time and time again I’ve watched my own friends and family struggle with having a baby and I know how much it hurts every time this question is asked. If I believed the magazine articles written about me I’ve been pregnant for the last year and a half. If and when Zach and I are blessed with another little one we will share on our own time and in our own way. We love you guys and so appreciate your love and support. No one wants to see baby j be a big brother more than I do but let’s wait patiently together! 💙👶🏻 #zandtpartyofthree #storyofzachandtori

Despite being such a thoughtful mother and being so open about the way she raises her son, Tori has been the target of criticism over the way she takes care of her 1-year-old son in the past.
