Madonna’s twin girls show off spirited dance moves while taking a dance class
The Queen of Pop might be one of the most influential figures in the entertainment industry, but for her, family is what really matters. The singer is often sharing pics and videos of her six children, but her youngest daughters, twins Estere and Stella, are stealing the spotlight with their dance moves.
Madonna is the proud mother of six children, the two eldest, Lourdes Leon, and Rocco Ritchie are her biological kids, and the other four, Mercy James, 13, David Banda, and Estere and Stella, 6, were all adopted from Malawi.
While the singer makes sure to treat her children equally, it is clear that the twins, adopted in 2017, are taking front and center on her Instagram page with their artistic skills. The girls are already following in their mom’s steps, taking singing, piano and dancing lessons. And for the delight of the worldwide star, they seem to love it.
DANCING QUEENS
One of the most recent clips Madonna shared to Instagram, shows the girls dancing alongside their instructor a choreographed dance routine to the song “Kontrol” by Maleek Berry. In the clip, the twins flaunt their good memory and synchronization while counting down and following the choreography with ease.
They wore the same outfits, like many twins do: from their braided hair down to white t-shirts, star patterned pants and black and white sneakers.
“More Dance Therapy.............#estere #stella #hakeem #dance #music #life,” Madonna captioned the high spirited clip.
FANS’ REACTIONS
Fans took over the comment section to praise the girls’ dancing skills, with some making a special mention to the one on the left, which is hard to say who is it considering they look so alike.
“@shesa5starchick: They are both jamming but the one on the left is straight killing it. When she gets older, she is going to be straight flexing on yall.”
“@amandayanin: The lady on the left has a great rhythm in her steps, as her beautiful queen mother!!!”
“@kristinekreska: Watching your girls dance always puts a smile on my face.”
"@phatsimozandile: I love that they dancing to African music."
THE ADOPTION
Estere and Stella are always dancing around, with or without their dance instructor. They can also play the piano and sing and are constantly freestyling and creating new songs while putting on a show for their mother.
Talking to People about her decision to adopt more kids before turning 60, Madonna explained that she couldn’t really explain the connection she had with the girls as she visited them in several occasions at the Home of Hope children’s house, in Malawi.
“It’s like saying, ‘Why do you fall in love with the people you fall in love with?’ You look into the eyes of somebody; you feel their soul, you feel touched by them — that’s it,” she stated.
After spending time with the twins in her visits, the singer had an epiphany on the summer of 2016:
“Sometimes I would just close my eyes and just think, ‘Why isn’t my kitchen filled with dancing children?’ There are so many children that need a home. I thought, ‘What am I waiting for? Just do it.’”
She started the adoption process after explained to her other kids that their family was going to be expanding once again. Everyone was on board and excited about the arrival of the twins and the girls got quickly acclimated to their new family.
“It’s like they were always here,” Madonna said of the twins, “And they’ve learned, in time, that I’m their mother and nothing is going to change that.”
