JOHN BERRY RECORDS FOR HOLLYWOOD MOVIE

John Berry's career took a new direction when he was contacted by Chuck Howard who had produced several of Berry's albums such as “Kiss Me in the Car,” “Your Love Amazes Me,” “You and Only You,” “She’s Taken a Shine.”

Howard asked Berry to perform the vocals for the theme song of the movie he was producing, "Beautifully Broken":

“Man, I’ve got the song and I’ve got the movie. I sent you a rough cut of the film. Take a look at it. I’ll send you the song tomorrow when I get to the office. Let me know what you think of the movie.”

Berry started watching the movie which is about faith, and the interwoven lives of families in Rwanda and Nashville.

The country star was moved to tears by the rough cut, and immediately agreed to sing the theme, even before he heard the song.
