Rapper The Game's grown daughter shows off her modeling skills in new Nike campaign
Cali Dream, daughter of rapper The Game and Tiffney Cambridge, is already creating a name for her self in the fashion and modeling industry. She’s just 8-year-old, but the stunning girl landed a campaign with Nike, and she’s enjoying every moment of it.
The Game is a proud father of three, but his youngest daughter, Cali Dream, seems to love the spotlight just as much as him.
The adorable girl signed her first modeling contract with Zuri Model Agency last year, and now she’s showing off her skills in front of the camera in a new campaign for Nike and their performance gear clothes.
FUN SHOOTS FOR BIG BRANDS
In pics shared to Cali’s Instagram account, which is managed by her parents, the curly haired girl wore different pieces of the Spring 2019 collection, including a blue sports bra, a pink t-shirt, gray sweatpants, black shorts and the signature Nike sneakers.
“Ummmm, mommy.. daddy.. thank you for getting me into modeling & supporting me. I had so much fun at this shoot !!! You guys are the bomb & thank you to @nike @nikelosangeles & @zurimodelandtalent for all that you guys do for me too,” said the caption of the pictures.
Fans of The Game took over the comment section to praise Cali and encourage her to keep pursuing her dreams by working hard. “We are so proud of you baby girl! Keep on shining!” wrote one fan. Another added, “You are amazing, and your parents are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!” and a third one chimed in to say:
“Amazing miss Cali great photos you pushed to achieve your ambitions and made it what a blessing, I can't believe you have gotten so big I still remember when you were little wow.”
THE START OF HER MODELING CAREER
Cali and her mother, Tiffney Cambridge, better known for appearing on the VH1’s reality show “Marrying The Game,” recently talked to BCK Online about Cali’s modeling career. There the 8-year-old revealed that she had a lot of fun in the Nike shooting, and revealing that she prefers to be in the runway:
“I prefer being on the runway because I like [to] strut down and pose in front of people and I like people taking pictures of me. So I prefer runway shows better.”
When asked who is her inspiration in the modeling world, Cali replied:
“I don’t watch anyone. My mom, when she comes with me and am taking pictures, she always just says keep you like strong and ‘Go, Cali.’ It inspires me to do better when my mom is there.”
Cali is a smart little girl, and it shows. And while she claims she doesn't follow anyone on the fashion world, she has revealed to love Winnie Harlow.
A DADDY-DAUGHTER INSPIRING MOMENT
Last year, The Game shared on Instagram a sweet moment he had with Cali, revealing that what he thought would be an inspiring “daddy teaching his daughter something moment” ended up teaching him that his daughter is smarter and already “hip.”
The rapper revealed that he was in Amsterdam and a custom doll maker gave him the chance to ask for a customized doll for his daughter. Thinking about teaching Cali about the different types of beauty and how people’s opinions shouldn’t weight self-image, he asked for a Winnie Harlow doll.
He wrote:
“I had an idea to have her create one that favored one of my favorite people @winnieharlow (whom I’ve never met, but ghost follow lol & admire) because her strength, confidence & perfect imperfections are the type of things I want to instill in my baby as well as explain to her that beauty is not based on others opinion of what others think a person may or may not look like physically but simply in God’s creations which we are all cut from.”
After finishing his tour and going home, The Game was ready to wow his daughter with the gift while giving her a lesson about self-love and beauty. But his plan didn’t work out. As he recalled:
“I pull it out my backpack & Cali says “Ooooh Daddy, it’s Winnie, I love her... she’s so cute” & I’m like awwww damn... there goes my daddy teaching his daughter something moment lmaooo... she was already hip & didn’t need to be put on... but that’s children these days, smarter than we think & very appreciative.”
Cali Dream has a long way ahead, but the girl, like her parents, is a hard worker and at her age already has a lot of passion for what she does. People love her distinctive looks, and we’ll probably see more of her in the future.
