Ice-T fires back at criticism over picture of wife Coco sleeping topless next to their daughter

Ice-T has no patience for internet users criticizing a recent picture he posted of his family, and he fired back promptly. Only last year, the actor/rapper was the subject of widespread backlash over his parenting abilities.

The “Law & Order: SVU” actor, on Monday, shared a photo of his wife, Coco Austin, their daughter Chanel Nicole, and their new puppy, Alexus, sleeping in the couple’s bed.

Coco, 39, lay topless while her pink-manicured hands were crossed across her chest. Three-year-old Chanel slept beside her mother in only a diaper, while Alexus preferred to curl up above Coco’s head.

Ice, 60, captioned the image:

“I wake up every morning with 3 girls..... lol #TheIceFamily.”

Although most social media users commented about how lovely the actor’s family is, many took offense with the fact that Coco was topless.

A few eagle-eyed fans even pointed out that the glamour model’s nipple was visible in the picture, which is probably why it got pulled off Instagram.

[Ice] was criticized for being a distant parent after Coco shared a series of family photos.

One Twitter user left an expletive-laden comment while another reportedly left a comment -- now-deleted -- about Coco’s breasts.

A third user said:

“I wouldn’t want my husband to post my nipple on media like this not even a topless pic of me but if she’s doesn’t care and if he doesn’t care if they don’t care who cares?! I guess thanks for sharing.”

After clapping back at some of the responses, Ice tweeted:

“Everybody have a Great Day … Make your haters Sick. Moovin.”

Early last year, Ice also faced criticism concerning his family. He was criticized for being a distant parent after Coco shared a series of family photos where the dad was never seen holding Chanel.

When Coco could not handle the negative comments and trolling anymore, she took to social media to defend her husband, claiming that they’re a “tight family.”

“People always ask me where is Ice in my pics,” Coco wrote alongside a photo of all three of them on a private flight. “Believe me, he usually is not far from me.”

The “Ice & Coco” star herself knows what it feels like to be at the receiving end of social media hostility. As recently as last September, Coco was dragged for breastfeeding her daughter, who at the time was over two years old.

While some non-fans believed Chanel was too old to be breastfed, others thought Coco was only using the act to show off her cleavage on social media.

Backlash or not, Ice and Coco continue to dote on their baby girl and live their life the best way they know how.
