'Law & Order’ star Elisabeth Rohm flaunts huge diamond ring revealing she said ‘Yes’
Elisabeth Rohm just got engaged to the love of her life and finally showed off her engagement ring to fans.
The "Law and Order" alum shared a lengthy caption alongside a picture of herself with her hand held up. The photo is found below.
She wore a small but telling smile. The large diamond ring was placed on her ring finger and was the only accessory to her bare-faced look.
Rohm, 45, played Assistant District Attorney on "Law and Order from 2001 to 2005. Her new fiance Jonathan Colby is a retired judge living in La Jolla, California.
In her caption, Rohm called him "the most loving, kind, elegant, generous and extraordinary man!" She acknowledged the talk that she and Colby was engaged.
She wrote:
"I’m so happy to finally share this most blessed and personal news with all of you. I’ve waited a long time to find My Jonathan."
Rohm said her prayers were answered in Colby and that she had "bawled like a baby with such joy to have found [her] one true love." The lucky man also shared a collage of Instagram picture of his new fiancee.
Rohm continued in her post:
"I will share my life with [him] forever. I say YES! It's never too late to write your new story."
She hoped the best for her fans:
"God has blessed me with LOVE and I send all of you my warmest wishes for all your dreams to come true too."
At the end, Rohm noted that it was her parents who had set the pair up and she is "so grateful to them."
In an interview with PEOPLE, Rohm described the setting of the proposal which Colby made last week.
She said:
“In the privacy of our backyard, we shared our commitment to love each other forever as we took in the stunning ocean views at sunset. It was the most loving and romantic day of our lives with many tears of happiness!”
Rohm revisited her time on "Law and Order" in a separate interview with PEOPLE earlier this month. There she spoke about Jerry Orbach who passed away in 2004.
Rohm said Orbach taught her a sense of professionalism. She called the actor, who was with her on the show, a "real New Yorker" and a "real showman."
A new cast member is set to join the cast of "Law & Order: SVU" in upcoming episodes of the crime series. Actor and rapper Ice-T made the announcement on Twitter earlier this week.
In a video, he featured "Blue Bloods" actress Jennifer Esposito. The two were freezing in below 7-degree temperatures in New York as they recorded the news.
