Joy Behar not only has a look-alike daughter - her 7-year-old grandson is also her carbon copy
"The View" host Joy Behar is a proud grandmother of a look-alike grandson.
Joy, 76, has one child – a daughter named Eve, who is practically her twin. She gave birth to her when she was married to college professor Joe Behar. The former couple got divorced in 1982.
Even though Joy is normally busy with her daily celebrity activities, she makes time for her adored grandson.
Eve, 49, is also a mother. She has one son, Luca, whom she shares with her husband Alphonso Anthony Scotti, a physician assistant at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan. They tied the knot in 2007.
The 7-year-old boy doesn’t have his mother's hair color, but he looks more like his renowned grandmother.
Joy is very attached to her grandson. The relationship between the two could be alluded to as close-knitted.
Even though Joy is normally busy with her daily celebrity activities, she makes time for her adored grandson.
Joy, however, can’t keep him away from the public eye as she revealed that her grandson was using the F-word at age three during one of her talk show episodes.
According to her, Luca spoke the swear word while at Nursery school. When Eve found out about it, she had an immediate response:
“Luca learned the word from his grandma! He may have accidentally heard her say it and picked it up right away.”
At present, Luca is the only grandson of Joy, who was born Josephine Occhiuto in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York.
Joy has been in a relationship with Steve Janowitz, whom she called her "spousal equivalent" since 1982. In March 2009, she announced on "The View" that she might marry Janowitz.
However, after three months, she called off the engagement because she wanted people to quit discussing it. They eventually married in August 2011.
