The photo was posted on Instagram back in November 2018, and strangely only received 20 likes to date, Knauss wrote in the caption:

"[FBF] First Lady [Melania] model in Paris."

The photos on the Instagram account are authentic but we could not confirm whether the account really belongs to Melania's sister.

The 49-year-old Knauss, one year older than the FLOTUS, is mostly unknown and the account has only 1,099 followers.

Back in May, Knauss also shared a family photo that showed their parents. In the snap, Melania was barely out of the diapers.

Knauss's fans rushed to the comment section to share their admiration, with one user known only as Aniela1ianos saying:

"Who would have thought that one day she will become the First Lady of the USA? God's ways are simply astounding! Lovely family!"

Before marrying Donald Trump in 2005, she was known as Melanija Knavs, daughter of Amalija and Viktor Knavs.

They lived in Sevnica, Central Slovenia, and the family moved to the Ljubljana, the country's capital city, when Melania and Ines were teenagers.

Melania studied architecture at the local university before dropping out to pursue a career in fashion and modeling.

The Knavs, also written Knauss, lived a simple life, her father sold car parts to provide for the family and was known to the townsfolk as a hardworking man.

As a young girl, Melania would help her mother harvest red onions on the family farm. Their mother also sewed the children's clothes herself.

Melania met Donald Trump while modeling in Paris and Milan in 1998 through a mutual friend, Paolo Zampolli.

She moved to Manhattan and lived in one of Zampolli's apartments while doing modeling gigs around the city.

Trump approached Melania first to ask for her phone number, and the couple began dating soon after. They became engaged in 2004 and tied the knot in Florida the following year.

Her Christian Dior dress, designed by John Galliano, cost $200,000, and Billy Joel performed at the wedding reception.

Melania and Trump welcomed their son Barron – Melania's first child and Trump's fifth child – in 2006.
