While Wendy continues to fight her disease, fans of her show are really enjoying the new host.

A guest host has temporarily taken over Wendy William’s place at her talk show, and fans have expressed approval.

Keke Palmer hosted the Wendy Williams Show last February 8, 2019, while Wendy took time off for health reasons, as shown in the show’s YouTube post.

Wendy, 54, has been dealing with a series of medical emergencies that started on December 20, 2018.

The 25-year-old actress and singer talked candidly about the latest Hot Topics, including Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s marriage and Vogue magazine cover.

She also shared some opinions about Diddy, Ariana Grande and Katy Perry, among others.

Fans of the talk show praised Keke’s hosting skills.

“Keke looked amazing and she did a fabulous job!” one fan wrote in the comments.

Another one commented: “She has the attitude, personality, everything. Keke rules.”

A SERIES OF HEALTH EMERGENCIES

Wendy, 54, has been dealing with a series of medical emergencies that started on December 20, 2018.

Her break from the show was extended to an additional week after she suffered a shoulder injury. She was later hospitalized again for Graves’ disease complications. Her return to the show now is indefinite because of this recent health issue.

Host Nick Cannon also previously filled in for Wendy. He was also praised by the show’s fans.

In March last year, Wendy Williams returned on air after taking a break from work for three weeks due to an illness. But it seems the sickness still persists.

At the time, Wendy apologized to her fans via her Instagram explaining that she had a doctor-mandated rest from work that she had to fulfill.

She explained her disappointment at having to leave the show and announced that Jerry O’Connell would fill in for her.

On March 19, she finally came back on the show but her health didn’t seem to have improved much.

While she was dishing the dirt on Prince Harry’s decision to waive prenup in his marriage to actress Meghan Markle, Wendy belched and burped repeatedly.

She took a pause for a while as she struggled to continue the rest of the show with coughs interrupting her.
