Meghan Markle spotted in all-black, cradles huge baby bump ahead of her baby shower in New York
While Meghan Markle is in New York, she's made sure to roam the streets and reunite with some of her favorite parts of the city she once called home. Before her exciting baby shower with a few of her closest friends, she left The Mark Hotel in Manhattan to have lunch with a friend.
The Duchess of Sussex met up with her former "Suits" costar Abigail Spencer before heading to her baby shower. Spencer flew in for the event which was set to happen after their little lunch date.
Right after a quiet Valentine's Day celebration with Prince Harry, Markle flew to NYC from London on February 15 to celebrate her baby shower in a place that's all too familiar to her. Of course, her closest girlfriends made sure to fly in for the occasion as well, especially since this is one of the rare times that they actually get to spend some quality time with the royal.
The seven-month pregnant Duchess has been trying to look as lowkey as possible in all of her New York plans, hoping not to attract a large crowd. In most of her sightings, she's been seen wearing all black, which she would often pair with a hat or sunglasses to add a sense of anonymity to her look.
Before her baby shower, sources say that shopping and eating in her favorite restaurants are a part of the itinerary. She's also made sure to catch up with her friends in these activities, making the most out of her free time.
The private baby shower is said to be organized by Meghan's best friend, Jessica Mulroney, who arrived in New York City from her hometown of Toronto.
Meghan's secret trip to New York is one of the rare times she's seen without Prince Harry by her side and might be the last time she's seen traveling to the US before giving birth to their first child in just two months.
