Beth Chapman Shares Inspiring Pic about ‘Beating Cancer Together’ Amid Her Ongoing Battle
Fighting cancer in her signature style, Dog the Bounty Hunter’s wife gets lots of love for her positivity, strength, and sense of humor.
The 51-year-old reality tv star and matriarch of the Chapman clan raised 12 kids with her husband Duane “Dog” Chapman. After gaining 30 years of bail bond experience and setting the first record of being the youngest woman to receive a Colorado bail license, she began a career as her husband’s co-star in the series “Dog the Bounty Hunter.”
The show followed the couple through their hunts as bail agents from Hawaii to Colorado. It also featured Dog and Beth’s family life.
After the success of the long-running series, “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt” and “Dog and Beth Fight of Their Lives” were also produced on A&E Networks.
Things turned to a halt when Beth was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2017. She underwent a 13-hour surgery to remove the tumor and sought treatments including chemotherapy, acupuncture, and CBD oil to fight the disease.
They continued to keep their supportive fans in the loop throughout the ordeal. Beth remained upbeat and positive through it all. An A&E 2-hour special sharing their ordeal was aired following the first diagnosis.
Her most recent Instagram post is an adorable meme bearing the hopeful message,
“Come on! We’ll beat this cancer together! I’ll pray, and you’ll fight! Okay?!”
But sadly her cancer returned and is now said to be incurable. Duane confirmed that it had spread and asked for prayers for his beloved wife as she proceeds to undergo four to eight more rounds of chemotherapy to give her more time.
Beth, who became a great-grandmother for the first time in January, has been involved in many causes through the years including the Make A Wish Foundation. She insists on living her life, celebrating every moment with her family. She continues to keep a brave face amid the trials to bring comfort and inspiration to those around her, and most especially for her husband.
