Kandi Burruss Made up with Tamar Braxton, Fans Wonder if She Can Do the Same with Phaedra Parks

Tamar Braxton won "Celebrity Big Brother," and reaffirmed her friendship with singer Kandi Burruss.

The second season of “Celebrity Big Brother” proved to be one of the most exciting yet, with the celebrities tussling over the $250,000 prize.

Against all expectations, Braxton walked away with the prize and won back the friendship of fellow contestant Kandi Burruss.

“Everybody, of course, was letting special guests come in that night. And [Tamar] invited someone to come onstage who had basically said a lot of negative things about myself and some other members of our group and also people that we are close to.”

TAMAR AND KANDI WERE ESTRANGED

During the show, Kandi had revealed the reason for her estrangement from Tamar, who had been a close friend.

On New Year’s Eve 2017, Tamar had invited guests on stage, who proceeded to diss Kandi and her friend. Kandi blamed Tamar, and the feud was on.

The reality star and Phaedra have been at odds since the latter insinuated that Kandi had tried to drug and sexually abuse Porsha Williams.

NEITHER WAS HAPPY TO BE TOGETHER IN "BIG BROTHER"

When the two women first found themselves cooped up together in the "Big Brother" house, they were not happy. Their anger and their rivalry were at a fever pitch, but as time went on, their attitudes changed:

" I wasn’t too happy to see her face, I’m not going to lie, when I first saw her. But, in the end, I’m really grateful that she was there. And I’m really grateful of the friendship that we’ve been able to have in the house and outside of the house.”

ENEMIES WHO BECAME FRIENDS

The close confine of the "Big Brother" house gave the two women the opportunity to deal with their issues and reconcile:

“We got it back because we wanted it. We wanted to make amends more than we wanted to fight, and that’s for the both of us.”

CAN KANDI RECONCILE WITH PHAEDRA PARKS?

The good vibes between Tamar and Kandi have given fans hope that she can move past her difficulties with her "Real Housewives of Atlanta" co-star Phaedra Parks.

Asked by a fan on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" if there was any chance of reconciliation with Phaedra, Kandi replied in the negative:

“Absolutely not. That was too far, that was too much. I’ve never heard anything. No apologies, no nothing. And I’m cool with that. We don’t have to ever talk again and I’m good. Let’s move forward.”

The finale of the second season of "Celebrity Big Brother" saw Kandi Burruss, Tamar Braxton, Dina Lohan, Ricky Williams, and Lolo Jones fighting for the big prize.

Viewers were astounded when Tamar Braxton won on February 13, a resounding victory that saw her snag all 9 votes for a unanimous decision.

Braxton's win was historical as she became the first African American to win a "Big Brother" in the US.
