Kandi Burruss and Other ‘RHOA’ Stars Send Love to Marlo Hampton after Her Brother's Tragic Death

Marlo Hampton shared a touching tribute after the death of her brother and her fellow housewives reached out to comfort her.

Marlo Hampton is grieving the tragic loss of her brother and her fellow housewives have been sending love and prayers her way.

Marlo’s brother, Curtis died after suffering a brain injury. Days leading to his demise, the reality star posted a message of hope that he would recover.

“Right now I am praying to God for a miracle over your body, keep fighting, no doctor, only the Lord has the final say,” she wrote, and asked her followers for their prayers while alerting them of his condition.

“Please pray for my baby brother Curtis, he’s suffered a traumatic brain injury and the doctors are doing everything they can for him.”

A few days later, Marlo expressed her sorrow when Curtis finally succumbed to his death due to his illness. Her heartfelt message was filled with love as she made the sad announcement.

“Thank you to all my family, friends and #theHamptons for all your love and prayers. Yesterday at 6:04 am God decided he wanted my lil brother home with him.”

Marlo continued with a farewell message to her brother and assured him that his memory lives on.

“Curtis I [heart emoji] you more than words could ever say, we shared a bond that cannot be explained. Don’t worry about me, your big sis is going to turn up Memphis style for you “Mannnnn.” I’m going to listen to T- Pain, Goodie Mob, DMX, 8Ball & MJG and drink an Olde English 800 Curtis style, even though you know I don’t like beer! I just want to feel close to you. Save me a blinged out bed, pillow, cloud or something next to you in heaven Curtis. I will miss you so so much.”

Shortly after, Marlo’s friends from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” wrote messages of love and prayers in her comments section. Kandi Burruss expressed her support while Cynthia Bailey wrote, “My deepest condolences to you & your family Marlo. Here for you.”

“Marlo I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. You have my deepest condolences. Praying for you and your family’s strength during this difficult time,” Shamari DeVoe added.

News of Marlo’s brother’s death comes in the heels of reports that Cynthia’s ex-husband, Peter Thomas was arrested for fraud. Peter was at the airport in Miami when he was taken into custody. His warrant was issued in Louisiana where he reportedly wrote counterfeit checks. He stayed in the Miami Dade jail until arrangements for his extradition were made.

Peter is the father of Cynthia’s daughter, Noelle Robinson. He famously threatened Kenya Moore’s ex with a knife. Despite being divorced from Cynthia, he continues to appear on “RHOA” due to his closeness to her and to their daughter.
