The weather wasn’t going to stop the Duchess of Cambridge from meeting fans at the Blackpool Promenade in her official visit to the seaside town, and she looked great in her warm clothes as she greeted the crowd with a big smile.

37-year-old Kate Middleton pleased her admirers once again with a nice gesture as she walked in the rain under an umbrella, never losing her glamour despite the unfavorable chilly weather.

Underneath her overcoat, the Duchess wore a £225 ($296) patterned peacock dress by Michael Kors, and black knee-high boots. She accessorized the ensemble with a recycled green handbag by Manu Atelier.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are in Blackpool to visit innovative projects focused on investment and regeneration — and to learn how the resort is leading the way in tackling some of the social and mental health problems faced by people in Britain today.”

In the company of her husband Prince William, the mother-of-three visited the iconic Blackpool Tower, where they were given a briefing about recent local history and how the community is working to face its challenges.

Several hundred supporters gathered at the site to catch a glimpse of the woman most likely to become Queen of England in the future, and she waved a smiled to the crowd, enchanting them with her charisma.

The Duke and Duchess took some time to greet and talk to a group of children who welcomed them and gave a bouquet of flowers to Middleton.

Local authorities, personified by Blackpool’s Mayor and Mayoress Gary and Debbie Coleman, received the royal couple, who went on to learn about the projects to rehabilitate damaged areas of the town, which is in the middle of a housing crisis.

Middleton and William’s last royal visit was to Northern Ireland in February, where they spend a day interacting with young people and taking part in sports and other outdoor activities.

For her arrival to Dundee, Scottland, in January, Middleton also opted to wear mostly green. Her Tartan-patterned and scarf were green, and she was carrying the same handbag she brought along to Blackpool.

It must be her favorite color, for we have seen her wearing it on many recent occasions, and we can’t blame her because it really suits her.
