Incredible Moment When Alleged Image of Jesus Appeared in the Clouds during Sunset
Striking pictures indicated what seems to be a figure of Jesus Christ showing up over an Italian town as sunlight got through the clouds.
The photographs were taken by Alfredo Lo Brutto, from Agropoli, Italy, while at his home town on March 1, as reported by Daily Mail.
Jesus is a first-century Jewish minister and religious leader. He is the principal figure of Christianity and is generally portrayed as the most influential individual ever.
The shape made by the fabulous light show at sunset appeared to look like the prestigious Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
"I was enchanted by the view. I don't often share pictures on social media, but when I took this one, I instantly felt like I wanted other people to see it, because it was so beautiful," Alfredo said.
THE HOLY ART
A year ago, one of the oldest artistic creations of Jesus Christ was discovered on the wall of a deserted church in the Israeli desert. Archaeologists spotted the portrait in a Byzantine church in the Negev desert of Israel.
The painting was first discovered in the 1920s, but it wasn't until a past couple of years that any undertaking was made to see what lay beneath the hundreds of years of dirt.
“His face is right there, looking at us," said Emma Maayan-Fanar, an art historian.
The artistic creation portrays Jesus as a young fellow with short, curly hair next to a lot bigger picture, believed to be John the Baptist. Experts have said that the discovery of this painting is extremely important.
WHO IS JESUS CHRIST?
Jesus is a first-century Jewish minister and religious leader. He is the principal figure of Christianity and is generally portrayed as the most influential individual ever. His birthday is praised yearly on December 25. His crucifixion is worshiped on Good Friday and his resurrection on Easter.
According to Christian doctrines, Jesus was brought about by the Holy Spirit and was conceived of a virgin named Mary.
The doctrines included that Jesus performed marvels and established the Church and that he died by crucifixion as a penance to accomplish atonement for sin. Jesus became alive once again, and ascended into Heaven, from where he will return, the doctrines continued.
