'Empire's Trai Byers & Wife Grace Turned up the Heat, Dancing Rumba Passionately in Sweet Video

Grace Byers and her husband, Trai Byers, recently showed off their undeniable chemistry and good rhythm in a dancing video shared to Instagram.

The Byers have become one of the most loved couples in the entertainment industry, and fans can’t get enough of their love.

In a recent clip shared to Instagram by Grace, the couple is seen passionately dancing the rumba in a mostly empty dance studio, and they showed off not only their deep romantic connection but also their best moves.

"You never know if you're sitting across from the man who's going to be your husband or the woman that's going to be your wife. You have to know yourself before it will work out."

Both stars kept it simple with their outfits, with Grace rocking jeans, a gray sweater and silver pumps, and Trai wearing jeans, a mauve shirt, and black shoes.

As the video starts, Grace and Trai have their heads together, and they slowly start dancing around, turning and coming together again to sensually move their hips to the rhythm of the music before ending the routine with a flourish and some silly moves.

Byers captioned the clip:

“surprise rhumba.

Hubby’s intro to the rhumba and 30 mins later... In one of my favorite places in the world @arthurmurraychicago. Thank you hubby + my ace @kasiakaz9 for making my day with this surprise. Love you both more than words can say. (my sweet hubby is super shy, but he always goes out on a limb to make me smile. what a man.)”

Fans of the couple took over the comment section to praise their relationship, with most using the hashtag #couplegoals to describe them.

“By far, the sexiest thing I've ever seen thus far and I love it. So romantic and just beautiful,” wrote one user.

Another added, “LOVE LOVE that you all like doing things like this together!!! And Dirty Dancing is a Classic Film! Bravo!”

And a third one chimed in to say,

Grace and Trai met on the set of FOX’s musical drama “Empire,” where Byers gives life to Andre Lyon, and Grace gave life to Anika Calhoun.

It was love at first sight, and they tied the knot on a private ceremony at the Cayman Islands in April 2016.

When asked how did he know Grace was the one for him, Trai told Glamour magazine:

“God. My personal life is personal, and I keep my private life private, but she and I...obviously, we have similarities like anybody else, and we share a strong love and passion for God, which is necessary for both of us.”

The 35-year-old also talked about the qualities he most appreciates in a woman, stating:

“I appreciate a woman that knows herself, and it's obvious. It's obvious in her etiquette and her conversations, spirit, culture. You gotta know who you are for a guy like me. I know who I am, and I don't like to waste my time playing around.”

“You never know if you're sitting across from the man who's going to be your husband or the woman that's going to be your wife. You have to know yourself before it will work out,” he added.

For Grace, on the other hand, it was essential to know that her involvement with Trai was serious from the beginning since she's not a fan of "flings at the workplace."

She talked about this on the now-canceled show FabLife, saying:

"I think that if you do get involved — I keep wanting to say on set — I think that if you do get involved at your workplace, you have to know that this is something that you want to be invested in, and this is just not just something that is frivolous and fleeting."

Trai and Grace are constantly gushing about their love on social media, so it's understandable why fans believe they are "couple goals."
