Prince Charles Appoints Lionel Richie as a First Ambassador of the Prince's Trust
Famous singer Lionel Richie has recently met with Prince Charles in Barbados, where he was declared the global ambassador for The Prince's Trust International.
The meeting took place on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, as part of Charles' 12-day tour of the Caribbean, during which he will be accompanied by his wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles.
It has been reported that the 69-year-old musician is now expected to introduce the Prince's charity to an international audience after the reception at the Coral Reef Club Hotel.
WHAT IS THE PRINCE'S TRUST
The Prince's Trust International is an extension of The Prince's Trust, an organization that has reportedly helped people in the United Kingdom, aged 13 to 30, have a better life for the past 43 years.
The extension found back in 2015, has the same purpose but focuses on helping young people from Australia, India, Canada, Jordan, Malta, Pakistan and Barbados.
