93-Year-Old Grandma Made Her Dream Come True by Riding a Horse for the First Time
Every adult was once a child with dreams and wishes whether big or small. Some children are lucky enough to live their dreams while some aren't. Fortunately, this grandma was one of the lucky ones.
A granny's childhood wish finally came true as she turned 93. Mildred Sandlin geared up and jumped on the saddle for the first time in over nine decades on earth.

Mrs. Sandlin is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to many fantastic people who help make her dream come true. As a little girl born and bred in Alabama, Sandlin had always had a thing for horses, but she never got close enough to ride on their backs.
During a sit-down interview with Inside Edition, the Bremen great-grandma said,
"When I was growing up, I always wanted to be a cowgirl — you know, when you can imagine being anything."
Sandlin explained to the media that she fancied the idea of being a cowgirl who gets to meet a handsome cowboy, well you already know the rest of the story.
The aged woman said as a young girl; she had the opportunity to ride the mules on her family's farm but not the horses. Recalling her experience when she decided to give horseriding a try was one that cracked the old woman up, according to her, a friend scared her off.
Even after this experience, Sandlin believed she would once again make it back on the saddle, and she did!

Last Christmas, Mildred decided it was time to get back on the horse, and she told her family that, "on my 93rd birthday, I was going to ride a horse." With a certification from her doctor which says "May ride a horse at 93" and supports from her family, the birthday gran fulfilled her wish.
Come March 10, the day she clocked 93, Mildred Sandlin donned an all-black cowgirl outfit and rode a horse named Tough (Tuff) at the Ginger Stricklin Farms.
Sandlin's grandchild, Ashia took to Facebook to share moments from her grandmother's birthday. The young woman wrote on her post,
"I wish everyone could have been there to just see Mawmaw's pure joy."
Ashia's grandmother already has another challenge planned for her 94th birthday and guess what? It is bungee jumping.
