Tamar Braxton's Estranged Husband Vince Herbert Kicked out of Luxury Condo over Unpaid Rent
Tamar Braxton’s estranged husband Vince Herbert is being evicted from his luxury rental apartment in Los Angeles, according to latest reports.
A judge ordered the record executive to vacate his condo with immediate effect after he failed to honor an initial eviction lawsuit, The Blast reveals.
VINCE DEFAULTS ON A LEASE AGREEMENT
According to court documents obtained by the outlet, Vince, 46, stands accused of owing tens of thousands in rent and refusing to vacate the premises. He must now hand over the condo keys to the owner and leave immediately.
The initial lawsuit saw NK Real Estate Investments suing Vince earlier this year and claiming he defaulted on a one-year lease agreement he entered into last December. The “Tamar and Vince” star had moved in following the sale of the mansion he once shared with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Tamar.
LUXURY LIVING
Vince was reportedly to make monthly payments of $37,000 but defaulted in February and was served with a three-day notice to pay rent or quit. The real estate firm then sued Vince for the unpaid rent of $38,850, other costs inclusive.
The luxury condo in question is said to be a 3-bedroom, 5-bathroom space located within a building that boasts among other facilities, a 75 ft. pool, spa, yoga studio, conference room/office, bar lounges and a children’s playroom.
MORE LEGAL WOES
News of Vince’s court-ordered eviction comes a month after it was revealed that he might be losing some of his royalties after failing to pay his debt to another leasing company.
The company had initially sued Vince for breaching a 2016 Rolls Royce lease. The artist manager was ordered by a court to pay over $60,000 but failed to honor the judgment.
While Vince’s financial and legal woes are playing out in public, his estranged wife, Tamar, recently claimed that their relationship is better now that they’re not together anymore.
TAMAR: "OUR RELATIONSHIP IS GREAT"
The “Celebrity Big Brother” winner filed for divorce in 2017 and even though the process is yet to be finalized, she implied that the split has already been beneficial:
“Vince and I don’t work together anymore but I’m glad I got my friend back. Our relationship is great. Obviously, I never thought I’d be in this situation but I think it’s for the best. I think there’s hope that he’s happy and definitely hope for my own happiness because us together and working together was completely toxic. Our marriage had absolutely no hope after a few years of working together, the way we was working together.”
Tamar, who shares five-year-old son Logan with Vince, has since moved on to another man. She gushed about her Nigerian beau on the “Wendy Williams Show” last December, describing him as “a whole snack — a Lunchable!”
