It's hardly believable that Whoopi Goldberg's adorable first great-grandchild, Charli Rose, is already almost 5 years old this year!

It wasn't so long ago that the legendary Whoopi Goldberg showed off becoming a great-grandmother for the first time with a video on Instagram where she was holding Charli Rose as a newborn.

Less than five years later, it's almost impossible to recognize the child as the same little person we all oohed and aahed over when she made her Instagram debut.

There is no doubt that Goldberg lives solely for her ragtag crew, reportedly saying once that marriage wasn't for her but family is her life.

At the time, the "Ghost" star shared a funny clip where she admitted to last feeding a newborn baby forty years ago and needing some time to get her bearings.

While Goldberg is a rock star, TV host, and award-winning actress in public, she is also an amazing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother in private.

Her only daughter Alex, from her first marriage to Alvin Martin, blessed her with three grandchildren, her first child as a result of teenage pregnancy.

Goldberg's granddaughter, Amarah Skye, was born to Alex when Whoopi was then a young thirty-four-year old TV host, and she is now the proud mother of Charli Rose or Chuck Rose, as she is affectionately called.

There is no doubt that Goldberg lives solely for her ragtag crew, reportedly saying to Piers Morgan once that marriage wasn't for her but family is her life:

"You have to really be committed to them. And I'm just — I don't have that commitment. I'm committed to my family."

That's why Whoopi's recent health scare had not just "The View" fans worried but her family in a panic as well, with her saying, "I came very, very close to leaving the Earth" to describe her near-death experience.

The 63-year-old Goldberg had developed pneumonia in both lungs and had become septic, requiring a sabbatical from hosting the show. We are glad she didn't leave the Earth or her beautiful family just yet.
