Meghan Markle Doesn't Realize the Sacrifice She Made by Marrying Prince Harry, Expert Claims
Meghan Markle was a loud and proud feminist before getting married into the royal family and sacrificing her individuality to live under the scrutiny of the Queen.
According to one expert, she did not fully understand the sacrifice required from her when she accepted Prince Harry's proposal and is now a virtual prisoner of British custom and tradition.
While it is plain to see that Prince Harry and his bride are in love, with a new baby on the way as well, an expert warns that Markle will eventually lose her sparkle as she becomes more and more just a pawn of the royal family.
Royal Correspondent Helen Kirwan Taylor has made her thoughts on the matter clear in the documentary "Meghan Markle: The First 100 Days," saying:
"I think, at the beginning, every event is exciting because she has never done them before. In two years time when she is being rolled out to some godforsaken dark wet city in freezing conditions, I think she is going to wonder why she agreed to this."
The Duchess of Sussex has had a wonderful first year of marriage, traveling the world at her husband's side and managing to support several charities along the way.
The Duchess has been harangued by the media for her messy buns; and for going-without-a-hat to one event but wearing a hat to Wimbledon, for wearing an off-the-shoulder dress to one ceremony and a pantsuit to another.
Expecting their first child at the age of thirty-seven, a baby that will be seventh in line to the throne will be an exciting adventure for the previously divorced "Suits" actress.
It must all seem like a dream come true for the American, however, other royal experts have not predicted smooth sailing for the couple. Author Duncan Larcombe refers to Meghan as a "prisoner" of the royal family, saying:
"I don’t think even Meghan could have really comprehended the scale of the sacrifice she was making by saying 'I do'."

Markle has broken all sorts of protocols since joining the royal family for seemingly arbitrary things for women in the 21st century, like the color of her nail polish, revealing bared legs in a skirt, and taking her shoes off in public.
The Duchess has been harangued by the media for her messy buns; and for going-without-a-hat to one event but wearing a hat to Wimbledon, for wearing an off-the-shoulder dress to one ceremony and a pantsuit to another.
It seems, for an outsider, that she can never win. No matter what she does, she's always either pushing the envelope purposely or missing the mark altogether due to ignorance or lack of proper guidance.
But the biggest taboo of the century will be her choice of maternity hospital as conflicting reports say the mum-to-be might opt to break a four-decade royal tradition by not giving birth in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital.
The couple may settle for a maternity unit closer to their new Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage, and reportedly might also not be doing the traditional "press meets baby" photoshoot on the steps like Princess Diana and Duchess Kate have done.
