Rosie O'Donnell once blasted Tom Selleck for his pro-gun leanings on her talk show.

In May 1999, Selleck appeared on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” to promote his movie, “The Love Letter." However, O’Donnell went on the attack about his participation in the National Rifle Association (NRA).

"I didn't come on this show to have a debate. I came on this show to plug a movie. That's what I'm doing here," the veteran actor said at the time.

The talk show host, who had spoken loud in support of controlling access to assault rifles after the Columbine High School shooting massacre, insisted that Selleck was warned ahead of time that the topic of gun control would be addressed.

But Selleck said in a statement that a daytime syndicated program is a wrong place to conduct such a discussion.

“The fight that we had, to me as a gay woman, it felt like this: ‘You don’t love me as much as I love you.’ ‘I’ve taken care of you.’"

In 2007, Shaun Robinson of Access Hollywood caught up with Selleck and brought up the actor's not-so-fond memories of O’Donnell.

“I still like Rosie. I think she needs to take a deep breath and stop thinking everybody who disagrees with her is evil," Selleck told Robinson.

It’s not the first time O’Donnell had a feud with someone. When she was still a co-host on "The View," she had a heated on-air argument with co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck over the Iraq war.

The argument led to O-Donnell leaving the show directly in May 2007.

“It felt like a lover breaking up,” O’Donnell said about her last day on the show with Hasselbeck.

“The fight that we had, to me as a gay woman, it felt like this: ‘You don’t love me as much as I love you.’ ‘I’ve taken care of you.’ ‘You have not.’ ‘How could you do that to me?’ ‘I didn’t do anything to you,'" she added.

The two are reportedly still at odds to this day.
