NCIS: LA Fans ‘Glad’ That Hetty Is Back after Watching the Latest Episode

Fans around the world are ecstatic as NCIS: LA star Linda Hunt, who plays Hetty in the famous crime drama, returned to screen after a long time. The actress made a rather dramatic come back by driving a yellow car through a wall. Talk about getting back with a bang!

The actress was badly missed throughout the series’ 10th season. She took the social media by storm after making an awesome entrance during the 17th episode of NCIS: LA, just in time to officiate Kensi and Deeks’ wedding.

Linda took a break from the hit crime drama series after suffering a car accident when she was 73. Luckily, she did not suffer any major injuries due to the accident.

However, she was left “visibly shaken” after her car struck a sedan and collided with an SUV. She was taken to the hospital after paramedics evaluated her. The other drivers were left with minor injuries after the collision.

In a statement to TV Line, the actress said she needed an additional time to recover from the accident, saying she would return later in the season.

"I first want to say how much I appreciate the outpouring of support from the NCIS: Los Angeles fans following my car accident this summer," Linda said in a statement to TV Line in November. "Though I had hoped to return to playing Hetty at the start of the season, I had to take some additional time to recover. I look forward to returning later this season."

The NCIS franchise is one of the most successful primetime network TV. It is also the longest-running series with “NCIS” currently in its 16th season, “NCIS: LA” running in its 10th season, and “NCIS: New Orleans” successfully continuing season 5.

It is good to see have Linda back on the screen after a prolonged healing time. We hope to see more of her in the upcoming episodes!
