Jennifer Lopez to Receive the 2019 CFDA Fashion Icon Award

Jennifer Lopez has one of the most exquisite sense of style in Hollywood, and the Council of Fashion Designers of America has finally realized that. The star has been rightfully recognized as a style icon and will receive the prestigious “Fashion Icon Award” at the 2019 CFDA Fashion Awards in N.Y.C.

From her engagement to the release of new music, 2019 turned out to be a pretty happening year for JLo. The star, who has graced the covers of top fashion magazines, has never failed to wow us with her excellent sense of style.

Steven Kolb, President, and CEO of the CFDA, described Jennifer’s style as “bold, uninhibited, and always memorable.”

“Designers, including many of our CFDA Members, love to dress her for both stage and private moments.”

“Jennifer Lopez uses clothes as a way to express confidence and power,” said Diane von Furstenberg, the chairwoman of CFDA. “Both designers and fans look forward to her fashion statements.”

Previously, big stars including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Pharrell Williams, and Naomi Campbell were honored with the award.

The CFDA Fashion Award is set to be hosted at the Brooklyn Museum on June 3.

Jennifer looks stunning in everything she wears, all thanks to the heavenly hot body she has maintained all through these years. In a recent music video, the star showed off her enviable curves in an array of stunning ensembles.

The carnival-themed music video features Jennifer clad in a low cut white jumpsuit and a cowboy hat. The stunner later switched to an equally stunning black dress embellished with diamonds.

The “Jenny from the Block” hitmaker will head out on a tour “It’s My Party: The Live Celebration” this summer. It is her first tour in six years and celebrates the actress turning 50 this year.
