Wendy Williams Reportedly Believes Husband Has Been Cheating on Her for Fifteen Years Already

Television host Wendy Williams had suspected her husband, Kevin Hunter, as having an affair for more than a decade.

Williams and Hunter, who share a 19-year-old son, are on the brink of a divorce after 21 years of marriage, as reported by PEOPLE.

“I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans."

“Wendy is telling people she had no idea he had been having an affair, but when she found out the details, it turned out he had been seeing the woman he had a baby with for 15-16 years,” an anonymous source said. “That made her realize it was time to move forward with her life. Seek treatment and move on. She’s not taking him back.”

“It’s hard after being married for so long and having a family together, to be able to move forward,” the source added. “But she realized she had to open her eyes to a bad marriage. So many stick around when they should get out.”

ASKING FOR FAMILY PRIVACY

Williams has kept mum after filing for divorce from Hunter, with her representative saying, “Kevin is supportive of Wendy and they are working through this process together.”

Hunter, for his part, made a public apology to the daytime host.

“I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans,” he said in a statement.

“I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs," he added. "No matter what the outcome is or what the future holds, we are still The Hunter Family and I will continue to work with and fully support my wife in this business and through any and all obstacles she may face living her new life of sobriety, while I also work on mine.”

Both Williams and Hunter asked for privacy as they sort out their family problems.

Williams has been facing health issues on top of her marital troubles. She had to take a break from work for three weeks due to an illness. But it seems the sickness still persists.

At the time, Williams apologized to her fans via her Instagram explaining that she had a doctor-mandated rest from work that she had to fulfill.
