Kim Kardashian Explains the Mystery of the 'Missing Basins' That Left Her Fans 'Baffled'

Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to straighten out some confusion her bathroom caused after a recent video left fans baffled.

The reality star walked fans through her generously sized bathroom and explained the interior while she paused at the unique “basin-less” sinks.

“Since everyone is a little bit confused about our sinks, I thought I would just show you guys a little tour of our bathroom,” Kim

.

The one-of-a-kind basins first featured during a recent interview with Vogue on a “73 Questions” video, but Kim first showed off the patio and “lightbox” ceiling along with the rest of the bathroom.

After she panned over the glass-enclosed shower and enormous bathtub, Kim turned her attention to the sinks.

Husband Kanye, the architect Claudio Silvestrin and the couple’s interior designer Axel Vervoordt came up with the unusual design.

As Kim previously had her sinks flush against the wall instead of in the middle of the room, she took to the new arrangement immediately. “Claudio was the one that said it should be separated from the wall. We thought it would be cooler this way,” Kim added.

It took eight prototypes before they settled on what they currently have and Kim went on to demonstrate how it works.

As there is no visible basin, Kim explained that the surface area under the tap has a slight slope. Its angle allows for a bit of water to pool before the water drains through a slot at the edge of the sloped surface. “You can put it on as high pressure as you want and no backsplash will come up,” she said.

It is the first time Kim showed off the interior of her home, and while they appreciated the inside look, they didn’t think the same when she revealed during her Vogue interview that decided to study law and pass the bar exam.

As Kim lives in one of the four states in America where she is not required to go to college to train for the exam, she hopes to qualify as a lawyer in four years.

The beauty mogul soon got accused of making a mockery out of the legal system and hit back at the haters as she said:

“I want people to understand that there is nothing that should limit your pursuit of your dreams and the accomplishment of new goals. The state bar doesn’t care who you are. Everyone can take this route if you live in a state where this is allowed.”

More recently Kim attended the inauguration of a health care center at the University of California in Los Angeles in honor of her late father and famous attorney, Robert Kardashian. Kim shared why the day was so special to her and the driving force behind the new center.
