Kim Richards of 'Nanny and the Professor' Fame Welcomes Her Second Grandson Hunter Montgomery
“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kim Richards feels “incredibly blessed” after the recent birth of her second grandchild.
Proudly the reality star took to Instagram and introduced her second grandchild, Hunter Montgomery to the world. Born on April 17, Kim posted beautiful pictures of her daughter Brooke and son-in-law Thayer with their newborn son, while her caption reflected her joy.
Brooke married Thayer in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in May 2015, and had their first son Hucksley on October 1, 2016.
When Brooke became pregnant with Hunter, she announced the news during the Thanksgiving holiday on November 18, 2018, with an adorable picture of the family on the beach and a short caption, “Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! Thankful for baby boy #2.”
The mother of two had her baby shower in March, which got hosted by Kathy Hilton, Paris’ mother, and was among the guests that celebrated the special time with her.
After Hunter’s birth, Brooke posted a sweet image of Hucksley holding his new baby brother and wrote, “Hunter Montgomery, thank you for making our family complete! Our hearts are so full ♥️♥️♥️.”
A few months before Brooke announced her second pregnancy, Kim spoke to PEOPLE about being a grandmother. “Right now, I’m really at a peaceful place in my life, being a mom and a grandmother. It’s just so amazing for me,” she said.
Kim adores being a grandmother and is “super grateful” for the times she gets to spend with her grandchild while she also couldn’t help but gush over his abilities at such a young age as she elaborated:
“He’s super outgoing, animated, super lovable, calls me Nana, I bought him a set of Safari animals, like 72 Safari animals. I can say, ‘Where’s the platypus,’ and he’ll know where the platypus is at. He knows every animal, and I’m not just saying this because he’s my grandson, but he’s so smart.”
While Kim’s ex-husband, and father to Brooke, died in 2016 after a battle with cancer, Kim is sure to dote on her two grandchildren enough for the both of them. However, not so long ago, Kim’s life was anything but peaceful.
In February Kim’s lawyer presented proof to a court that she fulfilled the requirements of her court-mandated 450 hours of community service.
The reality star initially got arrested and charged with trespassing, public intoxication, resisting arrest, and battery of a police officer after she refused to leave the bathroom in The Beverly Hills Hotel in April 2015.
With that chapter in her life officially closed, Kim can focus all her energy on her two adorable grandchildren.
In the spirit of sticking to celebrations, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” had cause for joy late last year as well, as co-star Camille Grammer and David C. Meyer tied the knot during a beautiful beach ceremony at a private beach club in Hawaii in October.
