The Duke and Duchess are finishing the last details to be fully ready to the birth of their first child, following their recent move to Frogmore Cottage, where they plan to raise “Baby Sussex.”

62-year-old grandmother-to-be Doria Ragland, mother of Meghan Markle, is reportedly on British soil already to be by her daughter’s side once she delivers her baby and to offer her help on her first days as a mother.

"It is such a happy and exciting time for Meghan. She looks absolutely radiant and is taking each day at a time. [She is] looking forward to becoming a mother," a source told ET recently.

It is good to hear that 37-year-old Markle can count with the support of her beloved mother on this life-changing moment.

“Ms. Ragland is very happy about this lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild,” a statement released by Kensington Palace back in October read.

Ragland was the only member from Markle’s family to attend her wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018. She was also beside her daughter for her first royal hosting event in September.

This time, Ragland arrived in England on the very special date of Queen Elizabeth II’s 93rd birthday, April 21.

"Happy Birthday Your Majesty, Ma'am, Granny. Wishing you the most wonderful day! Harry & Meghan," a series of images Elizabeth II posted at the recently created Sussex Royal Instagram account to honor the occasion was captioned.

Markle and the Queen have developed an affectionate bond that has meant much to the former through the different controversies that have hit her since marrying into the Royal Family in 2018.

In fact, the monarch has broken several Royal Traditions for the sake of her granddaughter-in-law, including approving a church wedding for Harry and Markle despite the latter being a divorced spouse.

It must have been hard for Markle not to be able to attend to Queen Elizabeth’s birthday celebration with the rest of the Royal Family, probably due to her advanced pregnancy, but they will all be rewarded when the baby arrives.

Speaking of royal traditions been broken since the former “Suits” star brought fresh air to the British royalty, it surfaced recently that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have chosen not to pose for pictures at the hospital following their baby’s birth.

Harry and Markle will have a photo call with their firstborn at Windsor Castle instead, and they will allow press on the royal residence once Markle’s labor is announced.
