The shower took place in February and cost nearly $500,000 as the penthouse, one of the most expensive suites costs about $75,000 a night and features five bedrooms, four fireplaces, six bathrooms, and two powder rooms.

Markle’s close friends were present during the celebration such as Amal Clooney, Gayle King, Misha Nonoo, Abigail Spencer, and Jessica Mulroney. However, the Duchesses sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, was not in attendance as she had other family businesses to attend.

Last year, she sported a “boss blazer” from Williams’ collection which promoted the item to be a best-seller. Williams said:

“If we’re giving our stuff to Meghan, it has to be the highest quality that we can get. So, that’s what I tell our team internally: ‘We have to make sure it’s super high quality that, you know, is fit for a royal princess!’”
