Royal Wedding on the Way One Year after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Tied the Knot
Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston are set to tie the knot, almost exactly a year after Meghan and Prince Harry.
Buckingham Palace confirmed to Express UK that the big day would be on Saturday, May 18. Just a day difference in date, as Meghan and Prince Harry tied the knot on May 19 last year at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Thomas and Lady Gabriella got engaged on the Isle of Sark, an island just off the coast of Normandy last year and their wedding date is approaching soon.
THE VENUE
The couple chose to get married in St George’s Chapel as well, same as Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank in October, and Prince Harry and Meghan last year.

Their wedding will have another thing in common with that of Princess Eugenie and Meghan’s, as their reception will also be held at Frogmore House in Windsor.
However, the wedding is said to be a private event, with no members of the public invited into castle grounds and no carriage procession.
THE WEDDING DRESS
The bride-to-be will choose a style of gown “sitting perfectly between Meghan and Eugenie,” according to the founder and designer of Charlotte Balbier bridal, Charlotte Balbier who spoke with Express UK.
She expects that Lady Gabriella will opt for a “traditional” but “feminine” dress and elaborated, “She will opt for a simple A-line or small ballgown shape in beautiful rich satin fabric. In keeping with royal tradition, there will be a long sleeve, and she will definitely choose a long veil to complement her gown.”
THE GUEST LIST
Family and close friends will attend the private wedding ceremony, and it is understood that some members of the Royal family will not be able to participate in her special day.
Speculation has it that Prince Harry, Meghan, Kate, Prince William, and the Queen won’t attend Lady Gabriella’s wedding.
Their wedding day also marks the date that the FA cup will be presented to the winners at Wembley, most likely by Prince William.
“Senior members of the royal family were absent from the marriage of her brother Lord Frederick Windsor to the actress Sophie Winkelman in 2009. There will be speculation as to which senior royals will attend this,” royal expert Richard Fitzwilliam told Express UK.

Lady Gabriella’s wedding is speculated to draw some media attention, as it happened with Princess Eugenie and Jack’s wedding back in October.
But it won't be anything close to that of Meghan and Prince Harry’s wedding. Apart from official guests, Meghan and Prince Harry invited 2,640 members of the public to their Windsor wedding while the much-anticipated event got watched by hundreds of millions of people globally.
After Buckham palace officially announced Lady Gabriella and Thomas’ engagement in September last year, an ex-boyfriend of Gabriella came forward and shared private information about their time together. He made an array of other allegations that varied from racism to drug abuse.
