'LHHATL' Star Erica Dixon Welcomes Twin Girls
Erica Dixon is the proud mother of twin girls after what she described as "one of the most difficult days" of her life.
The "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" star took to Instagram to share the news that she had given birth to her two daughters after making the pregnancy announcement in February.
The little ones, however, are not in the reality star's arms as yet because they were born with unknown medical issues and must remain at the hospital for some time.
In the photo, the 34-year-old posed nude pre-delivery and her breasts and stomach were painted over with lilac and blue flowers.
In the caption she wrote:
"Today was one of the most difficult days of my life. I have been blessed with two beautiful baby girls but to have to leave them just tore me apart. Praying they can come home sooner than later. I'm missing them so much already."
The comment section featured messages of support from fans of the star who already has a first daughter, 13-year-old Emani, with Lil Scrappy. In September 2018, the rapper also welcomed a new baby boy, Breland, with his wife Bambi T.
The identity of the father of Dixon's twins remains under wraps. Furthermore, Dixon waited until the few weeks leading up to the birth to even announce that it was twins she would be having.
The reality star shared a full body profile photo of herself decked out in heels as she rested her hands underneath her large bump at the time. She began her post, "In just a few days I’ll meet the two little angels God has blessed me with."
She went on to describe her emotions as she anticipated the delivery:
"I’m beyond ready, nervous, and excited all at the same time. Thanks to all who prayed for me throughout this pregnancy."
Dixon also prayed that there would be no health issues with her girls as she awaited their arrival. In a YouTube video, the star divulged that the pregnancy was unexpected as a result of contraceptives which didn't work.
It's unfortunate to know the babies need extra care but we pray that they are assisted to full health and can be with their mother very soon. Our congratulations go out to Dixon and her baby's father.
