It’s not every day that “The Addams Family” actress Anjelica Huston stirs up controversy so her recent interview where she accuses Oprah Winfrey of snubbing her gained a lot of mileage.

AN UNFORTUNATE WIN

In the midst of promoting her film “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum,” Huston opened up to Vulture about the time she won against the talk show host and never heard a word from her since.

"I was talking to Clint Eastwood, and she literally came between us with her back to me. So all of a sudden I was confronted with the back of Oprah’s head.”

It was back in 1986 when the actress bagged the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film, “Prizzi’s Honor.” She beat Oprah who was also nominated for the same award portraying Miss Sophia in “The Color Purple.”

Huston claims since that win, Oprah became cold to her.

“She never had me on her show, ever. She won’t talk to me.”

The actress who famously portrayed Morticia Addams recalled the one time she and Oprah crossed paths and it wasn’t pleasant either.

“The only encounter I’ve had with Oprah was when I was at a party for the Academy Awards, a private residence. I was talking to Clint Eastwood, and she literally came between us with her back to me. So all of a sudden I was confronted with the back of Oprah’s head.”

“I admire Oprah. God knows, she’s made some big steps.”

Huston is convinced that Winfrey’s distant demeanor towards her had everything to do with the Oscars.

“Well, nobody else would dislike me so much as to literally, physically come in between the person I was talking with that way,” she reasons.

But in spite of the cold shoulder she seemingly got from the media mogul, Houston still holds her in high regard.

“I admire Oprah. God knows, she’s made some big steps.”

AN INCONSIDERATE RULE

Huston didn’t only shade Winfrey during the interview but she also named another famous celebrity who displeased her – Eddie Murphy. According to the 67-year-old, during her days filming “Daddy Day Care” with the comedian, she didn’t appreciate his diva attitude.

“Frankly, a lot of male movie stars behave in an offhand manner, like they’re just more important than you are.”

Murphy apparently required his co-stars to arrive on the set 15 minutes before him and Houston challenged that rule.

“You’d be waiting for over 15 minutes in a California summer, so you’re not appetizing by the time you get on-camera,” she said. “Maybe he didn’t recognize that factor. So I requested to at least know when he was traveling to set.”

To Houston’s dismay, Murphy’s reply, was “Ladies first.”

“Frankly, a lot of male movie stars behave in an offhand manner, like they’re just more important than you are,” the actress concludes.

"The first week I was there, we were all in this little hotel, and he invited the entire cast to go and have dinner, except me."

A MISSED INVITATION

Huston was clearly on a roll when she also called out actor Bill Murray and complained about how “he was a [expletive] to me” while they filmed “Life Aquatic.”

“The first week I was there, we were all in this little hotel, and he invited the entire cast to go and have dinner, except me. And everyone came down for dinner, a little dog-faced about my not being invited, and they were all like, 'Oh, you know, we don't really want to go.' That was worse than anything."

Huston recalled setting things straight with Murray then and the actor has since been nicer to her. He even attended the funeral of her late husband, Robert Graham.

A LOVEABLE PRANKSTER

It’s hard to imagine Murray being anything but nice considering he is a known loveable prankster. One of his more recent pranks involved pouring alcohol on his co-stars during this year’s Golden Globe Awards.

Backstage with “The Green Book” stars after their film won, Murray toasted their win. It ended with Mahershala Ali, Viggo Mortensen, and Linda Cardellini drenched in alcohol after the comedian tossed his drink to each of them. The mood was light so Murray’s prank was taken in stride.

Makes us wonder if Huston would have reacted the same way if Murray splashed his drink across her face.
