Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes debut their long-rumored relationship at the MET Gala where they showed up in coordinated outfits and posed for pictures together.

Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes surprised fans at the MET Gala by posing for pictures together. The elusive rumored couple appeared at ease as they obliged photographers who took advantage of the rare moment.

COORDINATED COUPLE

Fox and Holmes arrived separately to the event and did not walk the pink carpet together. The 40-year-old actress reportedly came with her designer Zach Posen while the multi-faceted star appeared to arrive alone. However, their coordinated ensembles clearly suggested they were each other’s dates.

This is the first time the pair flaunted their relationship at the MET Gala since dating rumors started way back in 2013 after they were spotted getting cozy at a party in East Hampton.

Holmes looked divine wearing a purple gown with a feathered collar alongside Foxx who cleaned up nicely in a traditional black suit and a pair of purple shoes. The couple stood close as they posed for photos. At one point they were joined by Cardi B who stunned wearing a blood-red voluminous ensemble.

Holmes was reportedly banned from flaunting a relationship in public for five years as part of the terms of her divorce from Tom Cruise with whom she shares her daughter Suri.

A RARE PUBLIC APPEARANCE

This is the first time the pair flaunted their relationship at the MET Gala since dating rumors started way back in 2013 after they were spotted getting cozy at a party in East Hampton. Since then, fans were left guessing about their romance which they made an effort to keep under the radar. Things changed in January 2018 when they attended Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Gala together. Their actions then spoke louder than the words they opted not to say to confirm their relationship.

A LOW-KEY ROMANCE

Holmes was reportedly banned from flaunting a relationship in public for five years as part of the terms of her divorce from Tom Cruise with whom she shares her daughter Suri. This may explain why she made an effort to keep her romance with Foxx private until 2017 when the ban expired and she was seen strolling hand in hand with her rumored boyfriend at a Malibu beach. Last year, they were again spotted displaying affection during another beach outing.

Despite the absence of a confirmation of their relationship, the pair have been suggesting they’re very much an item. Their most recent outing even included Foxx’s 25-year-old daughter, Corinne. The trio was spotted having a good time as they bonded over dinner and a movie.
