Donnie Wahlberg Shares Candid Tribute to Wife Jenny McCarthy in a Touching Photo with Her

“Blue Bloods” star, Donnie Wahlberg, paid homage to his wife, Jenny McCarthy on Mother’s Day through a sweet Instagram post calling her a “queen.”

Donnie Wahlberg posted a heartfelt Mother’s Day tribute to his wife, Jenny McCarthy on his Instagram account on Sunday. The post included a sweet photo of the couple snuggled up and a lengthy caption describing who his wife is -- a queen for many reasons.

“The queen of our household -- and not because she sits next to a king -- OH NO, she is a Queen in every sense of the word! She is a leader, a teacher, a warrior, a protector and a nurturer. Quite simply -- she is a mother,” he wrote on the caption.

He further explained the difficulty of being a mother and how it is truly a fantastic and honorable job, which he is incredibly proud of his wife for doing.

“To my beautiful Jenny, and to all the amazing mothers out there who are doing their very best in the most important task in the history of human kind -- including so many of my BH Sisters around the world -- I stand by your side today!” he added.

The couple tied the knot in 2014, showing love and support to each other ever since. McCarthy, who is head over heels for her husband, compared her husband to “Grease’s” Danny Zuko, mentioning that she got the “cool” and “hot guy” who can dance well.

On the other hand, Wahlberg, who is just as in love with his wife, makes her feel special by sending her flowers at least once a month, for no reason at all. The spark between the two continues to burn as they always admire and applaud each other’s achievements.

During one of their guest appearances on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Wahlberg couldn’t help but be proud of his wife after Cohen highlighted the “Blue Bloods” actor’s career, which Wahlberg immediately shifted by highlighting his wife’s career -- from a game show host to an “amazing, best-selling author.”

The couple has a blended family with Wahlberg’s two sons, Xavier and Elijah, from his previous marriage with Kimberly Fey, and McCarthy’s son with her ex-husband, John Asher. Currently, they are decided not to grow their family because of the time they may not be able to give, yet they are open to the idea in the future.
