Ben Affleck Pays Tribute to Ex-Wife & Mom in a Heartwarming Photo on Mother's Day

Ben Affleck posted a sweet Mother’s Day tribute for his mother and ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, on his Instagram account, thanking them for showing him “the meaning of love.”

Ben Affleck, 46, celebrated two women on Mother’s Day who have shown him what it means to be a mother and how it is to love - his mother, and his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, 46. The greeting was posted on his Instagram account and featured the two girls, side by side, walking beside each other.

“Happy Mother’s Day to the two incredible mothers who have shown me the meaning of love,” read the caption.

The actor also revealed that he mad donations to “Cut 50,” an organization which helps lower the “prison population,” and “National Bailout,” which aims to “bail out black moms and caregivers” as well as give aid to communities to end “money bail and pretrial detention.”

Like her ex-husband, Garner also posted a tribute to Affleck on Father’s Day last year, saying that their children are blessed to have a dad who “loves them the way you love.”

Affleck and Garner share three children, Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7, whom they co-parent well. The two started their relationship in 2004 which ended in marriage the following year. Sadly, they divorced in 2017, yet maintained a platonic relationship.

Last year, it was reported that Affleck wanted to purchase a home near Garners to have easier access to his kids and see them more. The house he was eyeing is located in Pacific Palisades Riviera Palisades Neighborhood, only 800 meters from Garner’s home.

According to People Magazine, the home had seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a family room, a gym, and a screening room, all sitting on a 0.56-acre space. It also has a formal dining area, a study room, and a lovely fireplace.
