Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are one of the most civil ex-couples ever, as they put their children as their top priority.

That being said, rumor has it that Ben Affleck actually wants to purchase a house near Garner's in order to see his kids more often.

The 45-year-old actor is reported to have been eyeing to buy an 'entertainer's dream house' in Pacific Palisades' Riviera Palisades Neighborhood. The property is worth $19.2 million, and is said to be located just an 800 meter distance from the 'Alias' star's own home.

According to People Magazine, the mansion he hopes to purchase sits on a 0.56 acre lot, and has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a screening room, a gym, a family room, and a maid's quarter. It also has a spacious living room complete with a fireplace to warm everyone up during winter, a formal dining room with a butler's pantry, a study room with built-in shelves and tables, and a bar.

The large manor Ben's rumored to buy also has a gourmet kitchen with breakfast area, a large backyard complete with a pool, spa, and outdoor barbecue place, and a separate guest house for those who wish to stay the night. Of course, a bar is not complete without a temperature-controlled walk-in wine cellar.

As it is said to be near his ex-wife's house, sources say that the reason is because the loving father cannot deal being away from his three kids Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6, for very long. Although the ex-husband and wife are now clearly separated, they have a very close relationship given that they spend a lot of time together with their kids.

While people would expect Jennifer and Ben to get back together, it seems the 'Justice League' star was house hunting with his new girlfriend Lindsay Shookus. Sources have reported that Ben wants Lindsay to feel 'included' when he decides to buy a new home given that it might be her future home too.
