Former professional ice hockey player, Mike Fisher, joined in on the celebration of Mother’s Day as he shared a rare picture of his wife of close to a decade, Carrie Underwood on Instagram.

In the world of entertainment, an athlete falling in love with a professional musician isn’t uncommon at all! The exceptional aspect of that type of emotional partnership is when the bond that both parties share stands the test of time, as it is in the case of Mike and Carrie.

The power couple has been married for about 9 years, and their relationship seems stronger than ever. Just a few hours ago, the former ice hockey center decided to appreciate the mother of his kids as the Mother’s Day celebrations were being concluded, and he did so by posting an unusual but cute photo of his talented partner.

In the Instagram picture, Carrie, 36, can be seen bottle-feeding her 3-month-old son as she gets her hair done at the same time! Mike then wrapped up his uplifting post with a beautiful caption.  He wrote:

“happy mother’s day to all the moms out there and to this great mother!! She does it all like my mom. Grateful for them both!! The boys and I are blessed!”

Shortly after the photo’s release, Mike’s followers showered the hardworking mom with praise through their comments.

One user said:

“Carrie you are an amazing woman such strength, faith, and love for your family, friends, and fans! You are an incredible example for all the little girls and women in this crazy world! Good luck on your tour!

Another fan encouraged the mother of 2, saying:

“Happy mother’s day Carrie, I can’t wait to see you in Ottawa.

Mike has always been known for his cute picture posts by his Instagram followers. A true Mike Fisher fan would remember the adorable photo that he posted way back in 2015.

In the photo, Mike was shirtless as he cuddled with baby Isaiah Michael Fisher who was dressed in a cute onesie. He captioned the photo:

“Me and my little man #lifeisgood.”

The former NHL player clearly has an indestructible bond with his loved ones, and he always finds the sweetest ways to express and profess his affection for them!
