Jesse Williams’ Ex Talks Public Split from the Actor After 14 Years Together

Aryn Drake-Lee opens up about her marriage, her separation, and her clash with the Hollywood values system.

Jesse Williams' estranged wife, Aryn Drake-Lee, opened up on a podcast about her marriage to the "Grey's Anatomy" star.

Aryn, who was married to Williams for seven years, confessed that she is still struggling to get over their break-up.

SEPARATION FROM JESSE WILLIAMS

Aryn has been separated from Williams since 2017, which was when the actor filed for a divorce.

For the last two years, the embattled couple has been embroiled in a bitter divorce and are fighting over the custody of their two children, Sadie, 5 and Maceo, 3.

The "Grey's Anatomy" star attended Jay-Z and Beyonce’s post-Oscars party with actress Taylour Paige.

TURNING HER PAIN INTO A POSITIVE

Aryn has been working through her pain and has found a way to channel her experience in a positive way by reaching out to other mothers in similar circumstances.

REACHING OUT TO MOMS

Aryn teamed up with fellow mom Trian Long-Smith and launched a new podcast - BBSARETRASH(Babies Are Trash) - which talks frankly about the difficulties and challenges of being a mother.

“Trian and I met last year and became very close, very quickly as a result of connecting through motherhood,” said Aryn.

ARYN DRAKE-LEE IS STILL BITTER

Aryn is still bitter about the dissolution of her marriage and spoke about the sacrifices she made to further Williams' career.

“When the divorce process started I had two nursing babies, and I am the one that ran our household for the 14 and a half years that he and I were together in the same house. And for our children, and for the creation of the businesses that we built together when I left my career in New York for us to move to California to pursue his, and then as a result built it…I knew, as the one that was really holding it all together, that I didn’t have a lot of room to fall, even though I was falling,” Aryn revealed.

Aryn blames the Hollywood scene and the values of the entertainment industry for the failure of her relationship with Williams.

She revealed that she is now rebuilding her life, and has gathered a network of like-minded friends who are supporting and helping her to heal.

Two years after he filed for divorce from his wife Aryn Drake-Lee, it looks like actor Jesse Williams has found love again.

The "Grey's Anatomy" star attended Jay-Z and Beyonce’s post-Oscars party with actress Taylour Paige.

The 28-year-old actress is best known to audiences as Ahsha Hayes in the VH1 series "Hit the Floor."

Although rumors are rife, neither of the stars have confirmed -or denied - the relationship.
