Ever since Kate Middleton got introduced to the world as a Royal, her style has evolved, and she has cemented her place as a style icon of the 21st century. Once again, she showed off her fabulous fashion sense in a beautiful outfit.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, stepped out in the company of the Duke, Prince William, to attend the Queen's tea garden party at the Buckingham Palace.

BEAMING IN PINK

She beamed in a stylish pale pink coat dress designed by Alexander McQueen, a matching hat by Juliette Botterill, and nude heels which were complemented by a clutch bag.

Middleton accessorized with pearl drop earrings that once belonged to Princess Diana — a gift by Collingwood jewelers, and she wore them a month before her wedding to Prince Charles.

Prince William wore a dress coat — the official outfit of the men to the garden party — and held his hat and an umbrella.

A YEARLY EVENT

Kensington Palace shared pictures of the two, writing that Her Majesty hosts the garden parties every year as a way of recognizing and rewarding public service. Guests are treated to high tea on the lawn of the Palace and also get to eat sandwiches and cakes.

The photos also showed the Royal couple mingling and having discussions with guests, with Middleton smiling at them.

The parents-of-three met Kerry Irving and his dog, Max, which has been Irving's companion ever since a car accident left him homebound with chronic pain in his back and neck.

He told the Royals that the dog helped him get his life back, and now together with his wife, Angela, they hold walks for people to meet Max and raise money for local rehoming centers.

This tea garden event hosted about 8,000 people; there will be subsequent ones in June and July.

A DAY EARLIER...

A day before the garden party, Middleton was at the Chelsea Flower Show for the opening of her "Back to Nature" garden. She wore a beautiful Erdem Sheban Floral cotton silk gown to the event, which also had the Queen in attendance.

Coincidentally, the same gown was worn a year earlier to the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry by Katharina, the Duchess of Kent, and it originally sold at $3,310.

Middleton has shown that she is a fashion icon to watch; fans of the Royals across the world can continue to get inspired by her while designers continue to sell out the clothes the Duchess has worn within hours.
